Hi, I’m Ashlee, I just turned 21 for the 8th consecutive year and I am just fine with that! I love reading, food and being a mom. I spend my free time – wait – ha - what’s that? - raising my 3 amazing kids! My daughters are 9 and 6 and the last piece of our puzzle, my son, is 2. I’m a cheer mom, a fashion designer, a chauffeur, a monster hunter, a boo-boo kisser and the Paralegal here in the office.
Born and raised in Macomb County, I spent the better part of my teenage years serving ice cream at the local Dairy Queen. I worked midnights managing a subway, all while going to school and raising a family. My passion in life, outside of my kids, is to help people. My position here in the office gives me that opportunity on a daily basis. I’m one of the first people you talk to and meet when you call or come in, so if you’re crying, chances are, I’ll cry with you, then probably offer you chocolate because let’s be real, chocolate fixes most things! If you’re scared, I get to reassure you, explain the process of what’s going on and hopefully ease your concerns.
When I first started school I went into the Surgical Tech program at Baker College. It wasn’t long after that I got the opportunity to work in this office. I quickly realized I was in the wrong program and switched my degree. In June 2014 I graduated from Baker College with my Associates in Business, focused in Paralegal studies. If you had asked me 12 years ago where I’d see myself now, I would have never said a paralegal in a law office. Every day I am thankful this is where life has lead me because the impact we make in people’s lives daily is so rewarding that I couldn’t imagine working with a better team than in our office.
